Arjun Bhardwaj, is a former police officer turned goon, who believes that money is the stuff of life.
On Christmas eve, Sameer bhai, a pimp, for whom Arjun had been doing odd jobs, informs Arjun that several of his call girls have gone missing. He fears they have run away. Wanting to get to the bottom of his bizarre mystery he assigns Arjun to find out the truth. So Arjun hatches a great plan.
He tells Sameer that he would need to use his call girl as a bait, to get to the perpetrator who he suspect could be the foot soldier of an international human trafficking cartel. "Like you use a lamb to tempt the tiger, we will use your girls to get to this group who I suspect is destroying your business" he says!
But, when Sameer bhai following Arjun's instructions, sends his girls into the field, things go terribly wrong. One of the girls, Reshma, a sixteen year old 'first timer' who has chosen to enter Sameer Bhai's flesh trade in order to provide for her poor family, simply disappears from Arjun's radar.
And so the hunt begins! He asks his cop friend Sadanand to help him to get to Reshma and her mysterious kidnapper. But, since it's holiday season, the Minister in charge of Law and Order instructs the Police hush up the case, fearing it would adversely impact the economy. Arjun on further investigation realizes that Reshma has been lured into a bizarre web by a regular customer of Sameer bhai, but has no idea about where he has taken his 'prey'.
While searching for Reshma in the area from where the girls prior to Reshma had vanished Arjun accidentally bumps into a suspicious person at a Day/Night drug store. The man is Dheeraj Pandey. Arjun's cop instinct tells him he is the man that has abducted Reshma and the other girls. Dheeraj tries to flee from Arjun's clutches, but is caught and arrested by the cops along with Arjun.
A guilt ridden Arjun, realizing that his master plan to make a quick buck has put Reshma's life in jeopardy, spends a harrowing night unearthing the truth about Dheeraj Padey. As the night deepens he learns shocking truths about Dheeraj. He is filled with revulsion, and just before he has gathered enough evidence to crucify him, Dheeraj is left loose by the Police. What follows there after is the mother of all nightmares.
